Welkom
Saxy Q. Het kwartet is opgericht in september 2006. Vier enthousiaste muzikanten uit Noord-Holland hebben dit kwartet opgericht om naast de harmonie en fanfare muziek zich volledig te kunnen uitleven met de saxofoon. Het kwartet bestaat uit vier ambitieuze muzikanten, die op hoog (amateur) niveau spelen in het 'dagelijks' leven. Wij proberen onze muzikale grenzen op te zoeken en hier zoveel mogelijk mee te doen in bijvoorbeeld voor ons uitdagende stukken. Ons doel is om ons zoveel mogelijk te ontwikkelen binnen dit genre en hiermee naar buiten te treden tijdens concerten. Daarom zijn wij ook altijd geïnteresseerd in (uitwisselings)concerten. Augustus 2008: Het kwartet is een nieuwe telg rijker! Dorenda is op 13 augustus bevallen van een prachtige dochter, Lindsay.
Juli 2008: Tina is toegelaten tot het 2e jaar van de opleiding Directie aan het Convervatorium van Amsterdam. Daarnaast zit ze in haar laaste studiejaar van de opleiding Docent Muziek.
Check het project lifelonglearning in Amsterdam, 2-3-4 oktober 2008! Een workshop voor (toekomstige) dirigenten. Tina en Wemke zullen in/met diverse ensembles/orkesten van zich laten horen.
